EMILY GLISSON
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Emily grew up in a small southern baptist church the daughter of a deacon and music leader and a Sunday School teacher. At a young age, she realized the need of Jesus in her life and accepted him as her Lord and Savior. While Emily has no children of her own, she is thankful God called her to children's ministry so she has the opportunity to watch kids put all the pieces together and "get it". She rejoices when she hears of children going home and applying what they've learned in God's word to their daily life. One of her absolute favorite opportunities is VBS. Being able to minister to children through a week of dancing, singing, worshiping is her idea of FUN! In addition to children's ministry, she works as the receptionist at Milan High School. In her spare time, Emily enjoys watching football, listening to music, and spending time on the beach and on cruises.
